Events: Asian Civilisations Museum River Nights 2016
Asian Civilisations Museum River Nights was back for 2016 and The Flashpixs Team were engaged to be the Events Photography provider for the annual event. River Nights was held on 21, 22, 28 & 29 October, from 7pm till late.
There were a tons of activities happening on both sides of the river, the open field besides ACM (Empress Lawn) and Boat Quay. You can bring along picnic blankets and enjoy the sights and sounds on offer. There are film screenings too with various short films from Singapore and Japan. Museum tours are also available on certain timings in the galleries.
According to ACM website the theme this year is “Phantasmagoria“. In an era of sensorial saturation, suffused with virtual and hyper reality, Phantasmagoria inspires new exploration and play on the ambiguity of space, time, and motion. The Singapore River at night presents a perfect canvas of “bright lights, big city”.
Below are some of the photos captured throughout the event. Our personal favourites would be the “Yugen – The Hidden Beauty of Japan” performance as well as the “Umbrella Project”.

Instant Prints: Citi Group’s Annual Appreciation Dinner 2010.
Time flies fast and this is the 3rd consecutive year running that The Flashpixs Team provided our Live Photography Service for Citi Group’s Annual Appreciation Dinner.
The Appreciation Dinner never fail to entertain the guests with a myriad of performances such as fire dancing, stilt walkers other host of carnival like appearances which filled the ballroom at Conrad bustling with activities.
The highlight of the night however belongs to the 1000 Hands Performance (pictured) that flew all the way from China as well as Selina Tan 1/3 of The Dim Sum Dollies (pictured below) who hosted the event with her wit and impeccable comedic timing.

A Black & White Wedding Affair of Clifford + June = Carrieann.
3 days into the New Year and The Flashpixs Team were already busy with weddings. Clifford & June engaged our Live Photography Service for their wedding luncheon at The Conrad and specifically requested for Black & White photocards to be printed for their guests who graced their wonderful event.
The couple who already has a beautiful daughter Carrieann (if you guys are wondering the 3rd name in their monogram) even surprised their guests with a few love songs that translates their journey as husband and wife.

A Celebration of Love of Wee Ming & Huilin @ The Mandarin Oriental
There were no Monday blues for The Flashpixs Team as we provided our Live Photography Services for couple Wee Ming & Huilin. The weekday wedding was held at Mandarin Oriental and it was a grand affair for all the wonderful mix of foreign and local guests that came. Photocards were printed on site as soon as it was taken and everyone were also in awe as they watched the Live Projection of the slideshow from two huge screens. Guests were treated to chocolate fondue too and a roving band were also engaged to entertain the guests to their every song requests.
The Team really had a wonderful time and we love to wish Wee Ming & Huilin a long a prosperous life together.

Instant Prints: The Boxing Day Wedding Affair of James & Melissa @ The Fullerton Hotel
James & Melissa tied the knot on Boxing Day 2009 and The Flashpixs Team whom were still caught up amid the Christmas festivities, provided our Live Photography Service for the lovely couple.
Photocards were instantly printed for the guests that came and everyone truly had a magical evening at the Fullerton Hotel.

Christmas Countdown @ The Marina Mandarin Singapore
Live Projection of Photos on the walls of the ballroom
Hundreds of revellers partied the night away at Marina Mandarin Singapore on the eve of Christmas to usher in the festivities. The Flashpixs Team provided our Live Photography Services for the countdown party and everyone had loads of fun snapping photos and receiving the photocards soon after. The photos taken were also projected on the huge walls of the hotel.
The highlight of the event however was the countdown and as soon as the clock strikes midnight, more than 50,000 balloons were released from the ceiling to the party goers below. Equipped with toothpicks and pins the revellers popped all the balloons welcoming Christmas with a big bang.

Instant Prints: The Wedding Affair of Nadya & Heirman
Nadya & Heirman made their bookings for our Live Photography Services very early in the year to avoid missing out on impressing their guests due to our packed schedules during the year end festivities. Relatives and friends were amazed and impressed at the photocards that were printed on-site as soon as their photos were taken that they could not stop posing for our cameras.

Instant Prints: The French Stall @ MacPherson Grand Opening
When owners of The French Stall, Xavier & Joanna, (pictured) above launched their 2nd outlet at Macpherson, they decided to give back to the community by donating the proceeds of the opening day sales to a non profit organisation for the aged. The Flashpixs Team on the other hand provided our Live Photography Services for the charitable event and collected a dollar for every photocard that were printed on-site for the generous guests that graced the event.
Everyone enjoyed the great french cuisine and the photocards that all in all The French Stall collected $8911 for the whole event. The Flashpixs Team would love to extend a massive congratulation as well as a big Thank You to The French Stall Team and generous guests who made the night a special one.
