Society A Fall Winter 2021 Catalogue Shoot

We headed to Society A’s studio this time to shoot their Fall Winter Catalogue for their high fashion e-commerce website.

Model Yukee was easy to work with as she posed for various clothing brands such as MINJUKIM, Sean Sheila, and Kimhekim to name a few.

In The Studio with Shaun Low – Founder of Swords & Stationery

When Shaun Low, Chief Happiness Officer, Principal Educational Therapist, and Founder of Swords & Stationery, the world’s first game-based educational therapy/specialist tutoring programme which helps children and teens with learning difficulties achieve the seemingly impossible needed a corporate headshot for his LinkedIn profile, we headed to the studio to create one for him.

We spent about an hour touching up his face, set up the lights in the studio, and began photographing Shaun in various poses.

Somehow, Shaun seems like a natural in front of the camera and we had an easy and enjoyable time photographing him.

Oudganics Agarwood & Lifestyle Products Photography

While we wait for Covid-19 to die down and continue with events, we have been lucky to be shooting from the studio (and sometimes at home 🙂 ) for an International Agarwood & Lifestyle company called Oudganics. They have been setting up their e-commerce website as well as on other platforms such as Lazada and we have been providing Product Photography for their items.

We set up our mobile studio lights and white backdrops to get a nice clean shot of the products. And we are very proud of the outcome of the images even though it was a simple set-up.

We were informed that sales are on the uptick after the photos went live.

In The Studio with Singapore’s First World Boxing Champion, “The Chosen Wan”

We had the honour of having Singapore’s First World Boxing Champion, Muhammad Ridhwan aka “The Chosen Wan” in our studio for a series of portraits for his upcoming fight, The Roar of Singapore 3 at the Suntec City.

We photographed Ridhwan, for fight posters as well as product endorsements and we had an enjoyable time in the studio with various boxing stances and poses.

You can catch “The Chosen Wan,” in action for the IBO Intercontinental Title happening on 20th October 2017 at the Suntec City Convention & Exhibition Centre, brought to you by Ringstar Management.

The Chosen Wan is currently unbeaten with 8 KOs and his opponent, Sebastian has 9 KOs to his name.

In The Studio with Maryam Amelie – Singaporean Author & Designer

We were back in the studio, this time with Singaporean author & designer, Maryam Amelie to photograph her latest collection of shawls.

Her collection of shawls for the modern modest wear lady includes the Vanda Collection, paying tribute to the national flower of Singapore – the Vanda Miss Joaquim.

The Traditional Songket Collection, made for everyday wear, as well as for that special occasion.

The Parisienne Collection (above) is a snapshot of Maryam Amelie’s personal memories in Paris. She has carved subtle love messages in this Parisienne Collection, taken from a quote in her novella, The Truth Seekers @ Haji Lane.

The Maryam Amelie Sakura Collection is for ALL women and for all seasons. It makes great gifts to friends from Japan and anywhere in the world.

We spent hours in the studio to get the photos ready for her online shop, and the Maryam Amelie collection is available at Ungu Pen.

Corporate Headshot: Rafeek Abdul. Successful Entrepreneur of the Year 2011

We were never interested nor excited about doing corporate headshots. The usual ‘standard’ poses never seem exciting. However, this is a different case.

Rafeek Abdul is a close friend and business associate and he was recently awarded the Successful Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 platinum award. Rafeek runs an events company and his motto is to “create events that inspires”.

We had a great time with our Mobile Studio Set-up and below are some of the photos to prove it. (Maybe too much of a good time )

Advertorial: Crumpler’s New Camera Range

The Flashpixs Team was busy over the week photographing Crumpler’s new range of bags. Pictured above is a 2-page advertisement layout of the new camera bag range for a Hong Kong lifestyle magazine.

The Team spent days preening the bags as well as photographing them in their best poses for the AD. Overall the team had loads of fun but tiring week photographing the bags, but we were lucky we had models who didn’t complain to us!
